Wear It Purple
Interactive map design and development.
Client
Wear It Purple is a national charity who strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.
The Challenge
Wear It Purple needed support communicating the scope and impact of their nationwide school resources program, which delivers thousands of educational materials to schools across Australia. While the program had significant reach, they faced challenges in conveying this scale to stakeholders and funders in a clear, data-driven way.
At the same time, they sought to better leverage their program data to inform strategy—identifying gaps, opportunities, and future directions for growth and engagement.
The Solution
We designed and developed an interactive map that visualises the reach of Wear It Purple’s school resources program, allowing donors, partners, and supporters to explore the scale of delivery across Australia. The map was built to be embedded directly on their website and included filters and data highlights to tell a clear, compelling story.
In addition to the digital experience, we provided tailored map exports to support fundraising, reports, and promotional materials—helping the organisation amplify its impact through data-informed storytelling.

”We have been lucky to have an ongoing relationship with Stella and the team at Cartisan for the last 3 plus years. To be able to map Wear it Purple growth / influence and where we need to consider varied approaches has been instrumental to our way of working.
Stella personally has encouraged us to look beyond our initial need and implement a strategy that has assisted us far more. Couldn’t recommend Cartisan more.”
